Private equity real estate is an asset class consisting of equity and debt investments in the real estate property. Investment of real estate typically involves active management strategy ranging from moderate reposition or releasing of properties to development or extensive redevelopment.
Private equity real estate funds generally follow three strategies including core plus, value added and opportunistic strategies when making investments.
